Sarah Kaarina was born in the United States, raised in Italy and currently lives in the United Kingdom where she is studying for a PhD in Linguistics at the University of Cambridge.

Her writing has appeared in Hypaethral Magazine, the Varsity Arts section, Cathexis Northwest Press and Prometheus Dreaming.

She holds a BA (Hons) in Linguistics and Phonetics from the University of Leeds and a combined MSc in Educational Neuroscience from University College London and Birkbeck College.
